Step into a space built entirely for the game. Our dedicated poker room is a focused, professional environment where serious players gather for face-to-face poker.
Every detail of the dedicated poker room is designed to keep attention on the table. The space is quiet, deliberate, and made for players who value the game itself.
The room is designed from the ground up for poker, with acoustics, lighting, and layout optimized for concentration. Sound-absorbing materials reduce noise and distraction, while lighting is focused on tables rather than overhead glare. The layout allows comfortable movement between tables without disrupting play, so every seat feels connected to the room without being crowded.
Each table is a professional-grade surface with real felt, padded rails, and built-in cup holders, designed for long sessions. Regulation-size tables provide consistent spacing for every player, while padded rails keep the game comfortable through extended play. Subtle brass trim echoes the room’s design language and marks the table as part of a deliberate, premium environment.
We use real playing cards and professional poker chips because the tactile feel is part of the game. High-quality plastic cards hold up to frequent use and shuffle cleanly, while clay-composite chips offer a satisfying weight in the hand. Cards and chips are maintained to professional standards, so every hand begins with equipment that feels right.
Our room hosts organized poker games throughout the week, providing structure and consistency for players. Scheduled game times let you plan ahead, while a variety of poker formats—including Texas Hold’em and Omaha—keeps the room fresh for different styles of play. Professional dealers keep the game moving smoothly and ensure every hand is handled with the same care as the last.
The room attracts players who take the game seriously, creating a respectful and focused environment. Players are expected to follow poker etiquette, and the room’s design minimizes distractions so attention stays on the table. Staff are knowledgeable about the game and its customs, helping the room feel welcoming without losing its sense of purpose.
The dedicated room hosts regular poker tournaments, giving players a chance to compete in a structured format. Tournaments are scheduled on a recurring basis, with different structures to suit various preferences. Professional tournament directors ensure fair play and keep each event running on time.
A classic tournament format where each player begins with the same stack and plays until one player remains. The structure rewards patience and disciplined decision-making.

The room is available for private poker events, offering an exclusive space for your group. Customizable event packages let you shape the evening around your guests, while professional dealers and staff run the event from the first shuffle to the final hand. The room provides a premium setting for birthdays, celebrations, or any occasion that deserves more than a standard venue.
Corporate groups can use the room for team-building or client entertainment in a sophisticated environment. It’s a unique alternative to standard corporate outings, offering a shared experience that encourages conversation and friendly competition. The room can accommodate groups of various sizes, and staff can assist with event planning and logistics so you can focus on your guests.
The dedicated poker room is built around three material ideas: brass, wood, and quiet. Together they create a space that feels both classic and deliberate.
Lighting is designed to be warm and focused, with brass fixtures that add a touch of elegance. Brass accents appear throughout the room, and the lighting is dimmable to adjust the mood for different events. There is no harsh overhead glare on tables—just enough light to read the cards and the players.
Dark wood surfaces and burgundy leather chairs create a classic, sophisticated poker room feel. Chairs are upholstered in burgundy leather for comfort during long sessions, while tables and trim use dark wood tones that ground the space. The palette is consistent with the venue’s brand, so the room feels like a natural extension of Card Bungalow Renmark.
The room exudes a quiet confidence, with no unnecessary decoration—just the essentials for serious poker. Minimalist design keeps focus on the game, and there are no distracting artwork or screens competing for attention. The space feels exclusive and intentional, a place where the game is the only thing that needs to be loud.
Card Bungalow Renmark is located at 38 Lonsdale Street, Braddon ACT 2612, Australia, in the heart of Canberra. The venue is easy to access from major roads, with parking available nearby and public transport options within walking distance.
